So for those I haven't already groused to about this:

Wednesday I got a message from one of my faculty. He wants to know if I can get him the latest iteration of the software I'm doing for him for a presentation Friday. Sure, I say. Thursday turns out to be hell, so I get back at 10:00 pm to do a marathon overnight coding session. 7:30 am Friday I email him the executable of the latest and go home to get some well deserved rest.

2:00 in the afternoon, I check my email to find a message from him telling me that Outlook ate the file and could I possibly get it to him again for his 1:30 meeting. ARRRGGGHHH. Turns out the Hotel School IT folks have it set up that any executables are assumed to be viruses and thus are deleted. Ptui.

$2k of dental work this morning, including work on 2 crowns and 7 or 8 fillings, but at least my teeth are now healthy for the foreseeable future (it's been over 10 years since my last actual comprehensive exam, rather than someone just taking a pick to my teeth to see where things are soft). That and the anaesthesia is finally wearing off so I have a lower lip again.

Oh well, time to do more reading on how to use "me" to get the project running efficiently. Anyone out there really good with Director?
