Jan. 7th, 2003 12:09 pmJust how good is DDR for you? Apparently not as good as I thought at 7:30 this morning, but still not bad.
Ever since getting back from Atlanta, I've had some kind of creeping crud in my respiratory system. I checked my temperature yesterday, and I'm running about a degree low, of all things. Okay, so likely my metabolism is *way* slow. Last night, before going to bed, I played 3 rounds of DDR, and that might just have been enough to kick up my body to say "Crap! I'm sick! Time to burn this out!". At least, that's what I imagine, since I woke up this morning sweating under all of my blankets (something I haven't done for the past couple of days)... and it felt pretty good. So I stayed there for a while, and I noticed I wasn't hacking like I have been.
Of course, this could all just be coincidence anyway, but it's definitely a sign that I need to get off my ass and exercise more... something which I haven't been doing nearly enough of for the past month. I suspect that as soon as Roberta takes lunch orders, I'll just tell her to take as many pics of my food as she needs, and she can leave the box on my desk... I'll be at the gym.
