Neat developments in cinema:

So Regal bought out Hoyts. The Ithaca Journal doesn't currently have any listings (online, anyway) for the theater. Going to Hoyts.com, you're rerouted to Regal Cinemas, where upon looking for the Pyramid 10, you're shown that they're only playing 8 movies. Does this mean that perhaps, just maybe, they're actually working on upgrading some of the theaters? Maybe? Possibly? Perhaps it might even be worth going to soon?

Got me. But I do know that I should be reserving my X2 and Matrix Reloaded tickets for Binghamton soon.

Some time ago, I caught the trailer for a film called " Les Triplettes De Belleville". It's backed by a jazzy little track that happily takes up residence in your brain, and oddly enough, that's not a bad thing. (Note for Adelais: I promise there's no staggering legs in this clip)

Unfortunately, it's not coming out until mid-June. And that's in France. The good thing is that apparently, there is *no* dialogue to dub. This could make an American release possible quickly. The problem would be if whoever lands the American distribution rights felt the need to dub the music. Feh. Hopefully they could settle for subtitling it.
