Grr. Grr I say!

It's getting harder and harder to resist spending money. On the one hand, I can feel good that I am cranking down my credit card debt. It's looking pretty solid that I can have one card paid off next month (though there is a question as to whether to do it with cash reserves or income via ebay sales), and after that, I should be able to hammer away the rest of the credit card debt by October, assuming nothing catastrophic happens (Oh damn, now I've done it). After that, I can throw more money towards the truck and put some away for Christmas presents. And the best part is that all of that allows me to go to Pennsic and Origins and not live like a pauper at either one.

The problem, of course, is a need to spend *some* money in a controlled fashion so that I can not sit here frothing at the mouth at every last cool offer that comes along (and it does seem like the game companies are coming out with a lot of cool offers... I can imagine they aren't doing well right now). There's:

Video games: Rygar, FF IX, FF X, Ratchet & Clank, Dreamcast with Jet Grind Radio (It's $40 all told, cheaper than just a game for the PS2)

Gaming: Any of tons of offers for minis. Historical Vikings? Resin terrain at 40% off? New superhero stuff? Tons of Heroclix minis to strip the paint off and make them look decent? Copplestone, Street Violence, Void? Gah. And what about paint at 1/3 off from Brookhurst?

Leather: Larry's been coming by to work on various projects and ponder the idea of making toys for profit. This is all well and good, but of course, doing such things needs supplies.

Videos: There's always something on DVD that I want.

I'm managing to be pretty good. I've mentioned my options at any given moment to people, and they've always steered me in the direction I'd have gone had I gotten to look at things better (Paints vs. Talisman, for example), but I've been trying to avoid spending too much on any one item regardless.

I guess I'll just have to see what the Friday special from Siegel is... that may do my deciding for me.
