Shoulder is doing better. I went out after the Myrkie meet (moot?) and got a heating pad for it and then spent an hour wearing it (under the influence of a couple of Advil) while I finished watching Outlaw Star. It's now just slightly worse than it was pre-owie. It's possible I could fight with it on Sunday, but I'd rather not push it, knowing the people I'd be fighting against. Better to hear what the experts think, and I need some new armor anyway. I'm debating $85 metal gauntlets vs. $125 EGG plastic ones. The selling point of the EGG ones is they'll wrap around the polearm better, and I don't know if I could make that kind of adjustment to the metal ones. Maybe I'll go with the metal ones anyway and pass 'em off to someone later on. EGG legs are still on my to-buy list, though. They're light enough to only need a waist belt, and that works for me. I also need to make a new, somewhat lighter polearm if I don't want to encourage my shoulder to jump out of place immediately, and save the war club for events. (on the other hand, Zadra's light saber was *wonderful* when I went from my usual arms and lever to it and simple elbows. The speed difference was quite impressive. Maybe I need to practice wearing arm weights.)

First meeting with a new faculty consult today... This time, I plan on seeing if I can send her in a direction where I do *NOT* have to be developer and coder and project manager all at once. I'd like to think I've learned that lesson. Hopefully I can head off the the gym after the meeting.

Oatmeal is my friend. Dirt cheap stick with me breakfast.

Time to finish prep work...

Bleah. No time to hit the gym. I guess it's time to go home and play DDR for a while.

Baylor University. Yuck. This is gonna be painful.

(posted until I get blogger up and running for my projects) Okay. Baylor apparently wins award after award at professional selling competitions. Their website, however, is remarkably devoid of content. And the Coles Business School, who hosts said competition, also has its web links mapped to the developer's own machine. Jeeeeeez. If I ever wondered if sales drones were as bad as they're presented in Dilbert, now I know for sure.
