Okay, yet another DVD worth announcing:

A&E will be releasing Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere" on July 29, 2003... but only if you order it directly from them. It will apparently be shipping to the rest of the world one month later. Their price: $39.99.

I think I can wait the month.

But of course.

This one was actually done backwards to what you're thinking: Gaiman wrote the teleplay, BBC shot it, and then Gaiman wrote the book based on the way he saw the teleplay come out. He got to embellish some things and redo the spots he though the Beeb fell short on.

October sounds like a fine time for a movie night. If I can't get the house cleaned by then, I'm really in trouble.

Ah. Like Hitchhiker's Guide on the radio. Come to think of it, I do remember reading about the teleplay bit. It just escaped my notice that the movie had actually been filmed! Way cool.
